The Mother Plucker’s Ramblings

Yes, it’s true.  After 4 years of searching for a great site for Pluckers in San Marcos, we have finally found one at the old Red Robin on I-35.  We have always thought that San Marcos would be a great community for Pluckers as Texas State has been one of the fastest growing college campuses around.  The store will of course feature all of our great food and drinks, but we are also unveiling our first outdoor music facility.  We will be building a 30-foot stage so we can bring in local Texas and national recording artists to play for the San Marcos crowd at Pluckers.  In addition, the outdoor area will become a great place to hang out and have seating for over 150 people so we can cater events, tailgates, toga parties or whatever else you want to use Pluckers for.If you are interested in a job, please fill out an application on our website at http://www.pluckers.com/employment.aspx.  We are hiring coaches (what we call managers), cooks, servers, bartenders and bussers.  We are looking to build a staff of about 100 for our opening in January or February of 2009 and we can even provide you training and a job until that time here in Austin.
