Brand New Pluckers in Arlington!!!

In September the 10th Pluckers will be going in to the Arlington Heights Shopping Center!

We are very excited to be opening our second store in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  It will be located in a restaurant row that includes Chuy's, Bonedaddy's, Boudreaux's and Blackfin.

Mark your calendars!!  If you are a Pluckers Club member, keep your schedule open so you can cash in on your free meal and first look at the new store some time in late-August/early September.  If you are a PC member that lives in Austin, Killeen or San Marcos, we are considering creating a bus trip that leaves from Austin and gets you up to Dallas before the restaurant opens for a small fee.  If you would be interested in joining us, please email kwollman@pluckers.net.

We're calling it Party with a Purpose.  We will be teaming up with various local charities, bringing in big name bands, and partying like there's no tomorrow to raise money for these charitable groups.  Some in the line up include Dell Children's Center, Big Hearts for Brave Hearts, Sunshine Camps...and more!

When we opened Pluckers in 1995, we wanted to create the best place to eat chicken wings AND we also wanted to become an integral part of the Austin community.   Over the past 14 years with your help we have opened 9 locations and won numerous awards for our 17 signature flavors of wings.  During this time we have also teamed up with local charities and donated tens of thousands of dollars through our profit sharing programs.

This Spring, we are teaming up with our friends at KGSR to create a series of Thursday night Happy Hours featuring one local charity each week.  From 6 to 9pm, Pluckers will be donating 20% of all food and non-alcoholic beverage purchases back to the featured charity.  We are calling this A Party with a Purpose.

We’ll have performances from local musicians, great drink specials and an opportunity for Austin charities to show you what they are all about.  So whether you want to get involved in a charity but haven’t had the time, like listening to live music or just want to grab a cold beer with friends, join us and KGSR every Thursday at Pluckers on South Lamar starting at 6pm.

An out-of-towner loves us!!!

We are constantly grazing the internet to find anything good (or bad) people may have to say about us.  We just happened to come across a blog posted by someone from California that took a trip to Austin and happened to stumble onto our Rio Grande location!  Check out what he had to say!

On a recent trip to Austin I was fortunate enough to partake in some of the local food that made me contemplate moving to Austin. Pluckers, a small little wing chain that has recently undergone a facelift, is pretty simple when looking at their menu. Typical variations of chicken and beef prepared various ways, served along side tall beers and good company.

Once you try their wings though they are anything but simple. The ranch wings and teriyaki wings are ridiculously good, the beers are quite large, and the service was friendly.
