Front of House Uniform

Servers – Hosts – Food Runners – Bussers

You may dress casually in your own clothes for orientation but will need to arrive in uniform for training shifts.

  • Pluckers Shirt – You will be provided with Pluckers’ uniform shirts prior to your first training shift. Please arrive early so you have 􀆟me to change. These cost you nothing up front but will be deducted from your “Plucker Bucks” at a later date.
  • Jeans - Must be dark blue with no holes or fraying. Jeans may not be excessively baggy and may not have excessive designs, studs, or stitching.
  • Shoes – Must be solid black, slip-resistant, closed toe, and in good condition.
    • Tred-Safe from Walmart is an affordable and easy to find option. Other brands are Shoes4Crews, Skechers, or Crocs. Be sure to purchase SLIP RESISTANT from these brands.
  • Apron (Servers ONLY) – Traditional black three pocket waist apron.

Back of House Uniform

Cook – Prep Cook – Dishwasher – Janitor

You may dress casually in your own clothes for orientation but will need to arrive in uniform for training shifts.

  • Chef Coat – solid black short-sleeved chef coat, with snaps or buttons.
    • Select sizes available for purchase at the restaurant.
  • Chef Pants – solid black, black and white striped, or black and white checkered.
    • Select sizes available for purchase at the restaurant
  • Hairnets & Hats – Pluckers will provide hairnets, which must always be worn. In additional to the hairnet, a pill style black chef hat or Pluckers hat is optional.
  • Shoes – Must be solid black, slip-resistant, closed toe, and in good condition.

Complete the following steps BEFORE ORIENTATION!

What do I need to DO Before Orientation?

1. Complete new hire paperwork in Paylocity (you're here!).

2. Register your HotSchedules account.

3. Download Schoox App.

What Do I need to bring with me to OrientatioN?

I9 documents. No copies, pictures, or expired items!

BRING YOUR i9 documents!

If there is ONE THING to remember to bring to Orientation, it's this! 
If you don't bring these documents you will be sent home. Sorry, Uncle Sam requires these! 

  • You can provide a List A item OR a List B AND List C item
    • You may provide receipts renewing items such as a receipt to renew your drivers license or get a replacement social security card, but you will be required to present the original document at a later date.
  • You can view a list of each document type here.

COmplete your paperwork!

You will receive one email welcoming you to the team, and then a second email from Paylocity with a link to register an account and complete your required new hire paperwork. If you don't see these emails within 24 hours, check your spam or junk folders, then email newhirehelp@pluckers.net for assistance.

Complete all required hiring paperwork by 12pm the day of your Orientation.

  • Open the email with the subject "Hello from HotSchedules".
  • Select the blue "REGISTER" button in the email from HotSchedules to create your user account.

Please complete this ASAP after receiving the emails, the links will expire.

  • ALL employees need a Texas Food Handler Certification within 30 days of orientation.
  • All FOH (Food Runner, Busser, Host, & Server) & Janitors need a TABC by their first day of training.
